GZ-Psychologist, sexologist in training
I was born in Havana, Cuba and moved to Aruba at the age of 9. As a teenager, I developed a great interest in human behavior and decided to come to the Netherlands to study psychology. After graduating from the University of Groningen, I worked in various areas of mental health care, specializing particularly in the treatment of clients with post-traumatic stress disorder and other trauma-related complaints such as mood, anxiety and personality problems. In 2022 I started training as a sexologist.
My goal as a therapist is to create a safe therapeutic environment where the client can learn to recognize his or her own strengths and where he or she can learn to break disruptive behavior patterns. It is my pleasure to provide guidance and support during the challenging journey of self-discovery and personal development we call therapy.
