Waiting time until introductory meeting, in Groningen:<\/strong><\/p>\n

We offer a non-committal introductory meeting.<\/p>\n

At the moment there is a waiting time of approximately 2 to 6 weeks for the introductory meeting.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Depending on the complexity of the complaints, the waiting time can be somewhat longer.<\/p>\n

The purpose of this meeting, is to determine whether our support fits your request for aid. If the introductory meeting shows that there is a match, you will be put on a waiting list for therapy.\u00a0During the introduction meeting more information can be given about how long it will approximately take before therapy will start.<\/p>\n

We try to limit this waiting time as much as possible.<\/p>\n

In case you have a Dutch health insurance, you can contact your insurer to request waiting period mediation. According to Dutch legislation, your insurer has to help you to find another practice where you can get an introductory meeting within 4 weeks and where you can start a therapy within 10 weeks. These are the maximum acceptable waiting periods agreed upon by healthcare providers and healthcare insurers (the so-called “Treek”-norms).<\/div>\n
