Psychologist
After completing my bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I worked in pharmaceutical research for several years. During this period, I became increasingly aware of the impact of both physical and psychological complaints, and how valuable appropriate support can be. This motivated me to delve deeper into psychology and make a more direct contribution to the well-being of others.
I completed a master’s degree in Clinical Forensic Psychology & Victimology at the University of Groningen. Having grown up between two cultures myself, I have a strong affinity for working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. Where and how we grow up has a major influence on how we perceive ourselves, others, and the world around us. At the same time, I believe that, despite our differences, we often have more in common than we think.
In my work as a psychologist, I offer an open and safe space in which we can explore together what has shaped you. I am curious and empathetic, and I am honest when necessary—always with the goal of working together to bring about change in a way that suits you.
