The group-training for mindfulness, acceptance and commitment for Empower clients

Research shows that mindfulness training is an effective way to prevent relapse in clients with psychological problems, such as anxiety and depression. We offer our clients a group-training to follow after their individual therapy to help cope with difficulties that you might face after your therapy, and to learn to live your life to the fullest.

A lot of people experience their life as unsatisfying because they suffer from psychological problems, such as anxiety, sadness, insecurity or exhaustion. We try hard not to experience those feelings and to get rid of them. “When my difficult emotions are gone I can start living my life” , is what most people think. However, scientific research show that this attitude can actually intensify the difficult emotions! Our training ‘Living life to the fullest’ is filled with exercises from mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) and helps you practice new and better ways to cope with difficult emotions. This way, you’ll learn to live your life from the heart and make more choices based on your values.
