Empower ensures that personal data is handled confidentiality and with the utmost care. All personal data is stored securely in Empower’s administration. This database is only accessible to Empower’s employees or our suppliers in so far it is required for their job. Empower makes all reasonable efforts to secure its systems against loss and/or against any form of unlawful use and executes fitting technical and organisational measures to this end in which, among other things the current state of technology is taken into account. However, Empower is not liable for the loss of data, damage to files, unlawfully gained access to computers or files, viruses distributed through ads or other unlawful programs or files or any other consequences of the provision of data to Empower.

Securing the log-in and payment screens and payment of Empower services is a process of constant optimisation. Security uses the so-called Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Provision of incorrect data is a punishable offence. Abuse will be reported to the authorities.

This website and privacy statement are governed by Dutch law. All disputes resulting from or related to this privacy statement will exclusively be presented to the competent court in the Netherlands.
