Reimbursement

Psychotherapy will be largely or fully reimbursed by all Dutch and most foreign healthcare insurers. 

I live in the Netherlands and have a Dutch healthcare insurance.
If you are 18 years of age or older, you pay the initial portion of all healthcare in the basic package yourself. This is known as the obligatory deductible excess. The mandatory deductible excess is EUR 385 per year. If you have taken out healthcare insurance with additional deductible excess, that higher amount shall apply. If you required other care this year in addition to psychotherapy, it is possible that you have already used up your deductible excess. Contact us or your health insurer if you have questions about this.
