A number of codes appear on our invoices to indicate the main group under which your diagnosis is listed. The specific diagnosis is not mentioned on the invoice. If you do not want your insurer to know the main group of your diagnosis via our invoice, you can sign the privacy statement.
The privacy statement ensures that:
- There will be no diagnose information listed on your invoices.
- no information about your treatment is provided to the DIS or SBG/Akwa.
In a number of cases, the insurer can still view your diagnosis, for example during a so-called material audit. This is a far-reaching audit to see whether a care provider has provided effective and lawful care.
If you would like to use the privacy statement, please mention this during your intake. There are no costs associated with the privacy statement.
